Nancy Daniels

SVP Production & Development, TLC

Nancy Daniels is TLC’s Senior Vice President of Production and Development. Based in Los Angeles, Daniels oversees all strategic planning and execution for the channel’s programming.

Previously, Daniels served as Senior Vice President of Development and Production for Discovery Studios—West Coast since July 2007. As a full-service production house, Discovery Studios develops and produces original programming in any format for any platform, including multi-part series, documentaries, and short form pieces. While at Discovery Studios, Daniels managed development and production for all programming out of the LA branch, and supervised key programs for networks such as TLC, Planet Green, Discovery Health Channel, and Science Channel.

Prior to Discovery Studios, Daniels was at CBS where she served as Vice President of Alternative Series Development since 2003. In this role, she worked on CBS’s key reality properties including Survivor, multiple Emmy Award winner The Amazing Race, Big Brother, Rock Star and others. Before CBS, Daniels had an extensive career as a producer in the independent television community and worked at high-profile independent production companies including Allison Grodner Productions, Arnold Shapiro Productions, Pie Town Productions, and Film Garden Entertainment. In these roles, she produced series for CBS, MTV, TLC, HGTV, Women’s Entertainment (WE), and others.
